About the event
TCS was founded in 1982 by a group of parents who wanted something more for their children. They were looking for hands-on and integrated studies, access to a challenging and hands-on work, more student choice, and a curriculum that was based on current research regarding how children learn best.
Many things have changed in the last 44 years, but we know the parents at TCS are still looking for many of the same things for their children.
Today, there is more and more research that supports what we do at Touchstone as being truly “best practices”.
Come to learn more about what progressive education is and is not, what current research tells us and how we are weaving that knowledge into our curriculum. The evening starts with a meal at 5 PM and is followed at about 6 by a session for parents until 7 PM. Childcare will be provided…
