Our Spanish program focuses on teaching children conversational Spanish, taught by a native speaker. The program uses a wide variety of materials to introduce not only the language but the cultures of the Spanish-speaking countries of the world, and strives to teach children the ability to think in Spanish. Our program will expand dramatically in the 2008-09 school year when Spanish will be taught to all children in our school; we intend to integrate the language experience across multiple areas of the curriculum.
