Students
in our elementary-level classrooms are passionate learners, as eager to share their knowledge as to expand upon it. From ages five to 12, they interact in mixed-age classrooms where they develop not only as individuals, but also as contributing team members. We firmly believe that success beyond school is a function not only of an individual’s strength but also of an individual’s ability to function productively as a member of a team. While our students build mastery in reading, creative and expository writing, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education and the arts, they also learn how to manage social interactions with peers, with teachers and other adults, and with children both younger and older than themselves. They are well prepared for the world of the 21st century.
