Giving to Touchstone Community School
 
Your donations to our Annual Fund support the people, programs and physical plant that make Touchstone the incredible educational success it has become.   Tuition alone will not deliver these improvements as it currently covers only eighty percent of our annual operating budget. Over the past three years, one hundred percent of the Board of Trustees and staff of Touchstone participated in the Annual Fund as donors. The Annual Fund supports the caring and dedicated teachers who provide the nurturing environment in which children learn and grow.

• Is tax deductible to the full extent of the law
• Supports field trips, including the Farm School and Appalachian Trail extended trips
• Brings professionals into our school for special programs, such as dance instructors and visiting musicians
• Supports our financial aid program
• Demonstrates to foundations that we have significant support within our community, which makes those foundations more willing to provide additional support
• Improves children’s classroom experience by allowing us to hire more teacher’s aides
• Increases our program budgets for every classroom
