Applying to Touchstone

Please visit our school for a tour before submitting an application. A completed application consists of:

A completed Application Form

A completed Consent to Release Records Form

A non-refundable application fee of $50

Once we receive your completed application, we will invite your child here for a screening visit. After that visit, and once we have received all applicable school records from your child's current (or previous) school, we can generally inform you of our admission decision within two weeks.

Children applying for entrance into our 4 or 5 year old classrooms will meet with teachers and a small group of children for no more than two hours. We will assess their readiness to participate in our program.

Older children will spend one or two full school days here, participating in one of our classrooms. Our teachers will assess your child's math, reading, and writing levels as well as his or her ability to participate as a member of the class.

Our process is designed to be stress-free for children; we advise parents to prepare their child simply by saying that he or she is coming here to find our what our school is like.
