Name: Adam Wells Age: 28
After Touchstone? Whitin Middle School in Uxbridge; Uxbridge
High School; University of Denver and University of
Massachusetts, Dartmouth
Current endeavors (professional, hobbies, family life): I am
currently employed doing risk analysis for a merchant processing
company located in Phoenix. Extra curricular activities include
being involved in the TCS Board of Trustees as of this [past]
spring. As far as hobbies go, I find I have become hopelessly
addicted to golf. I have taken it up as of this season, and my
goal is to break 100 by the first snow fall. I am married and
looking forward to my three-year wedding anniversary!
Favorite Touchstone memory: Thinking back, I feel there is no
single memory that stands out as being a favorite from my years
at Touchstone. It is the lifelong friendships that were built
that I carry on to this day with a handful of classmates that
span two decades now.
How did Touchstone prepare you for what you do today?
I think
that Touchstone,
as far back as I can remember, fostered a sort of “think outside
the box” problem solving
approach. This has allowed me, and other touchstone grads I have
worked with in a
professional setting, to tackle a problem by approaching it with
an open mindset and look
at the gray area of a problem as opposed to its black and white.
